I wear leggings almost every day I have to be out in public during the winter.
It has the potential of being an issue, because I run the risk of people thinking that I don't wash my clothes.
But since I may bump into one or two people on a GOOD day, it is a contained risk, and clearly one that I am willing to take.
People should be looking at the bag anyway.
